International’s 2010 International minister’s conference was held in Orlando,
Florida, July 20-23. Bruce, Craig and Debbie represented our
congregation. Today Bruce will be
bringing us an update on the conference proceedings and content. Green Lake Campout, July 30 – August 8: Craig & Debbie are once again overseeing the annual campout at
Green Lake this coming week. Please
keep everyone in your prayers for a safe and enjoyable time.

Prince George the weekend of August 7.
Rob Blazecka
will bring the message that day. Assistance
to Mexican Ministry As Marfe Diaz mentioned in
his sermon, one of the greatest needs in Mexico is trained leadership. To address this need a Leadership
Conference is being planned for this autumn.
On behalf of the congregation we have dedicated $5,000 to help fund
this conference and provide training for the many lay people sacrificially
serving their congregations throughout Mexico. Thanksgiving Celebration of Christ 2010 – Penticton
Once
again plans are under way for our annual retreat beside the beautiful
Okanagan Lake from Saturday October 9 to 16, 2010. Guest speakers this year include Pastor
General Joe and Tammy Tkach, Todd Martin, Colin Wallace and Gary and Wendy Moore. Our live concert will feature Elizabeth Deveau from Nova Scotia. We will also have all the other great activities we

Protecting God’s Creation
To help
do our part in taking care of the environment members supply their own cups
and plates. However, if you are a guest with us today, please request a
cup and plate from the kitchen staff.
Mission
Trip to Haiti Wendy Moore is
organizing a short term mission trip to Haiti for members of our fellowship,
if there is sufficient interest. Please
see the bulletin board for details. If you are interested in participating

Area Budget to June 30, 2010
Due to
a very high income month in June our income is now running $20,295 above
projections and with expenses close to projections ($49,861) we have a
$16,734 surplus at the half way point of the year. As always thanks for your
prayers and generous giving and we look forward to being a continuing
blessing to others.
